SANTIAGO BOU GRASSO
Illustrator, animator and comic book artist. As animator, he has participated in several animated feature-film productions, both argentine and internationa: Nocturna, Gisaku, El Arca, among others.
With his independent animated shorts, such as “El Empleo” and “Padre”, he received more than 80 international awards and an Oscar nomination in 2015.
RINO STEFANO TAGLIAFIERRO
Director, art director and video artist. He has realized videos for important brands, among them are Coke, Adidas, Samsung ana many more. He also created music videos for major Italian and international artists as Four Tet, Stumbleine, Digitalism, Fabri Fibra and more.
In 2014 his short film BEAUTY obtained worldwide recognition and gained the approval of major International newspapaers, such as Le Monde, The Guardian, Artribune, La Stampa, La Repubblica and many more.
Works in the UK and internationally, as an animation specialist and historian, and film curator for festivals and museums. Founder and director of the British Animation Awards, and publisher of animation DVD collections. Has also taught at the Royal College of Art, London, in Europe and the USA and various universities in Taiwan. Directed Channel 4 TV series about European animation. Curated international symposia on the relations between animation and other arts forms (UK, Italy, Portugal). Publications include: Animating the Unconscious: Desire & Sexuality in Animation,2012;: 2D & Beyond, Rotovision, 2001,A Reader in Animation Studies (John Libbey, UK & Australia) 1998, Cartoons & the Movies 1997, Women & Animation: A Compendium 1992. Also works as a translator.
